The Sacro Convento (Sacred Convent) at the Basilica of St. Francis, Assisi, ItalyA crew from the Catholic News Service visited with Franciscans in Assisi, Italy, including interviews in and tours of the Basilica of St. Francis and the Sacro Convento (Sacred Convent of the Basilica). While filming there, a friar from our Province, Fr. Martin Breski, OFM Conv., who currently serves as a tour guide at the Sacro Convento, escorted the crew. The videographer caught him on film, swinging his cords, as they walked through the arches of the Sacro Convento.

Support a Friar in Formation
Franciscan Education Burse

To financially assist in the education process of formation for our friars, each burse comes with a commitment to build it up to a $5,000 fulfillment through the efforts of parishes, individuals, families, groups or organizations.
Consider contributing to an already established burse in memory of a loved one or favorite friar, in celebration of an important event, and in thanksgiving for God's blessings, or create a new one now or as your legacy.
For more information on this program or to find other ways you can financially and spiritually support the friars, please click here: Donation
